I’m finally able to blog again! For the past 2 weeks we’ve been dog-sitting for my parents. So here are some new pictures from our day getting our cute little tree.

I didn’t take as many pictures of everyone as I wanted to (it may or may not had to do with the fact that I had some wine before dinner.) But since it was our friend’s first Thanksgiving with their baby Daphne, we managed to squeeze some in at sunset!

Today is the first day of Thanksgiving mayhem/fun! First, we’re off to hang with Jeremy’s family, then crazy-early-Friday-morning-shopping (why would I ever get up that early?) and then Thanksgiving with my family on Saturday. Oh and we also have family shoot on Sunday at the beach! Talk about craziness!! I’m sure it will be lots of fun.

Yummy ginger-snaps (notice the very cool vintage cookie jar my friend just got me). I love to bake and I am so in the holiday baking mood right now.

But more importantly, there are many things to be thankful for. I could write forever about what I’m thankful for but I’ll keep it short: Most of all, we’re thankful for God and His presence in our lives. He gives us the best friends anyone could ask for, a family of people we would hand pick if we could and we get to meet amazing people in this business. We have soooooo much to be thankful for. (And Jeremy is very thankful for his cigars!)

We hope everyone takes some time to think about what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving! Check back soon for more photos!

Last Sunday we shot this very brief wedding (only 3 hours) on the Muckenthaler Mansion but we still managed to take just as many pictures as 6 hour one! I won’t even say how many because it’s ridiculous!! Here’s some of our favorites:

Heather and Joe got married in the cute little town of Rancho Santa Fe. We just did their engagement at a winery in September and had a great time with them. The day was beautiful; filled with the love of family and friends, and there was the best rainbow ever to top it all off!!

I was finally able to go through some of the images from last week’s wedding with such an awesome couple. We just did their engagement and were looking forward to the wedding. They are both so nice and warm, we instantly hit it off with them. All of their friends and family talked about how wonderful they are and it’s true!! And I guess Edgar was very persistent (there was a bit of stalking going on!) and that’s how they ended up together. I relate; I too married my stalker!

It’s always fun as a photographer to get cool stuff like this.

We had another fun family evening in Ladera Ranch with our friends the Picous. We also did a shoot for Mattie Mae’s Birthday in February. But this time we got the honor of their dad, (Tommy Bahama as we like to call him) being able to make it for the pictures!

Tami (a bride/friend of ours) got her sister-in-law and brother the best gift of all, our photography!! It’s just what she wanted! Becky has been in two weddings that we’ve shot. One was Hannah’s last year and the other was Tami’s this year so it was her turn for a photoshoot! I always thought she was soooooo pretty and she is just glowing from being pregnant.

We did a very fun senior shoot with Derek. I actually went to school with his sister so her mom, Sherri hired us for the senior pics. We had such a great time walking around their dairy, Alger Farms. We get excited about things like dairies so it was very cool for us.
