Welcome to my new blog! I love to shoot in interesting places that each couple, person or family feels is "them". Collaborating with each client-friend makes this the most satisfying job! If you take a look through my shoots, you will see that they are all very different from each other, and that's the way I like it! I don't just want to be your photographer, I want to be your BFF!

Van + Albert don’t live in California so we did their engagement two days before the wedding. They are originally from L.A so we shot at some of their favorite places: Union Station, Philippe’s and Olvera Street. So fun!

Went inside The Edison which made me want to go back for a night!

Good looking couple. Rad car. Adorable dog. Enough said.

Heath rides BMX bikes so I thought it’d be fun to use his jumps as a backdrop.

Taylor + Brandon had a beautiful wedding at The Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada.

    Makeup: Amy Clarke
    Hair: Melody Rachunok

Brandon’s dad is a pastor and he married them. I loved this moment of prayer before the ceremony.

So much fun on the dance floor, I was even accosted! Love that I’ve shot most of these friend’s weddings!

And here’s one from their engagement I never posted:

Cambria + Chris are so fun and quirky! They had so many details that reflected that perfectly. My favorite was the guitar pics and the film boutonniere. The ceremony was at their church (where Chris also proposed) and the reception was at the Kellogg House in Pomona.

Monique + Chris are such a special couple. Just beautiful, wonderful, kind people. And you can tell how in love they are. They had their ceremony at Saints Felicitas & Perpetua church and their reception at The Rococo Room in Pasadena.

We took a walk in downtown Pasadena. So much fun. I love people’s reactions!

Those guys in the back are my favorite!

I got this sweet email from Amber:

Amber + Mauricio had a lovely wedding at the Orcutt Ranch. I loved all the details: bird cages instead of regular bouquets, fun yellow shoes, guys with no jackets, their dessert table and my absolute favorite for anything and everything, mason jars.

    Coordinator: Desiree Russo
    Florist: Delphinium Designs
    Desserts: Jean Beard

You might remember this amazing couple form their fun engagement session here and here. I love this couple! They have such a sweet love for each other, it’s so great to be around and photograph. Their wedding took place at this amazing ranch by Santa Barbara, called Wiggy Ranch. It was so beautiful. All the little touches of the different bridesmaid dresses, a groomsmaid (the groom’s sister) all the love, time and energy of that the family put into this made this wedding really special. Planning and design by Bella Notte Events.

The girls got ready at The Linden House. It was so cute!

Anastasia and her family are very close.

    I love this.

    Cocktail hour.
