What does a pug, a family, cloudy weather, burned trees and pretty flowers all have in common? There were all a part of this shoot! It was so much fun to shoot this wonderful family on my favorite kind of day and in my favorite kind of place. What more could I want?! They are all the sweetest people ever and it was such a joy.

We did their shoot on April 14. Saharai had Gabriel April 16! Congratulations Alvarez Family!

Saharai is amazingly gorgeous and photogenic.

Having a baby reminds me of the Lensbaby, so I tend to use it more on Maternity shoots! Ha!

Jon + Becky’s wedding was actually one of the very first that I ever shot (in all film!) and I think their maternity was the very first. I even took pictures of them when I was in my high school photography class, nine years ago. Yowza!

Last week we shot a very cute couple, Kirsten + Kirk and the belly! Kirsten is my Arbonne gal, who I met in the neato networking group, BNI.(Photographers and business people- great networking and referral group.) She wanted to make sure it was all about the belly shots and she was up for anything! It was a great time!

This is a picture we took just for fun. What does it say to you?

We played a really fun game called, “Who’s belly is bigger?!” You be the judge.

Kirsten wanted to do something with fabric and I loved how these turned out!

After we we done, we chatted about Kirsten’s Art Nouveau inspired room. So I had to grab a shot! She owns this room!

You might remember Kacee from her B Session last year and now’s she’s prego! I also did a fun shoot for her makeup work a few months ago. She’s such a doll and so much fun to be around. And this time she brought her cute hubby. We had a really good time with them.

We found this really cool distressed fence and Jeremy got one of my favorite shots!

I wanted to do something fun with the cutout and her belly. Jeremy shot this from across the street.

As I was getting all of our stuff together, I took my Polaroid camera out and I was pleasantly surprised to find a brand new box of Polaroids I forgot all about! And the camera had some in it too so it’s like I found two new packs!

We have a fun engagement tomorrow so you better believe I’m using Polaroids for that too! Come back soon for more shoots.

Debbie and Jonathan were so much fun!  Johnathan would say something off the wall and Debbie would just give him “the look” and sigh!

You may remember Cassie and Shawn from their wedding blog when they got hitched last August. And after only three months, Cassie was preggo! They couldn’t be more excited and they’re having a boy!!

Happy Mama! Cassie is just about the nicest, most loving person on the planet!
