Linda + Vince hired me to shoot their wedding in beautiful Malibu, at the Malibu Nature preserve. Since they are from out of town we only had the week before the wedding to do their engagement. Linda chose to wear a different wedding dress and also an amazing purple dress she made! So talented.

Hidden Chateau and Gardens in West Hills is such an amazing place for a weddings, engagements or any type of photography!

Linda + Vince are such warm, wonderful people. I can’t wait to share their beautiful wedding.

Juanita + Joshua are both actors who gave me so much to work with! They are fun, lively and expressive. They were going for a 1920s style so we started at one of my favorite LA spots, Cole’s Originator of the French Dip. Then we walked around downtown and found more cool spots. I don’t prefer to shoot at night, but this session may have persuaded me…

Usually I just share wedding thank yous but I loved this sweet note from May + J so much, I had to post!

love you to pieces, Dana.. you’re an amazing person and SO unbelievably talented! i can’t get over how much i love these.. i don’t know if i’ll be able to focus on anything else today. wow.. i can’t even imagine what you’ll do on our wedding day! can’t wait! BFFFEEEE!

Valerie is the twin sister of Jessica, one of my clients from way back in 2007 (Jessica + Andrew), so it was fun to see her again for her engagement this time! We shot at Higginbotham Park (where they went on one of their first dates) and the Claremont Colleges.

They are so happy and in love. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding in November!

Gypsy + Bill are my family, so this was extra special to me! We decided to shoot at Fuego at the Maya since it has meaning to them and it’s an amazing place to shoot! Last year, after Bill proposed at Parker’s Lighthouse, he had Gypsy’s friends and family waiting at Fuego as a surprise. So we had to shoot in both of those special spots.

Gypsy is in the fashion industry and Bill is a lawyer. Unlikely pair that makes perfect sense. So happy for them and excited for the celebrations and wedding next month! Love you Gyp + Bill!
