Lindsey and Ben were inspiring to photograph. They have such a sweetness about their relationship. It’s so fun to get to know them and find those little subdued details and moments that reflect their relationship. We started at The Camp and The Lab in Costa Mesa for an urban type look that suits their city style and then Crystal Cove Beach for some glorious light.
Thank you Lindsey + Ben for being up for anything!
Relationships are all about sharing a conversation over simple things like tea, so we started at the cutest little cafe, Milk + Honey.
If you’re reading this, you’re on my brand new blog and site!
I’ve been trying to update this for over a year but many things just didn’t work out. So finally, here it is. My blog needed to be cleaner, less confusing and more mobile friendly, which it is now! The blog also needed to be separated from the main site. Now you can take a peek at the new galleries on the homepage and in the gallery page. I hope you find it easier, prettier and more fun to poke around!
There’s so many amazing people and places I’ve been inspired by shooting over the years. And I can’t wait to meet the folks that see this site and feel my style is just right for them. We are going to make beautiful music together!
And as you can see, I also got a new logo. It was time to get a logo that reflected not just what I do, but who I am. And this does that very well. (You can read more on my new about page.)
With a new logo, comes new cards. I’ve been doing wood cards for a couple years but I did them slightly different this time. I chose wood because it’s natural and so is my photography. And my logo looks so fun on wood! These cards are so cute and reflect everything I love. It’s funny how often I’m attracted to some variation of this color combination in clothing, packaging and design.
Please make sure to go check out the people who helped make this possible for your design and website needs!

Happy Valentine’s Day! Today’s the day so many client’s men will get to see what we’ve been up to and I’m so excited for their surprise! Since I can’t post them yet, here’s some sexy Brigitte Bardot Boudoir Inspiration to feast your eyes on.
It’s never too late to surprise your Valentine with the best gift of all time; you! Careful though, these have been known to cause engagements and/or babies! And you can call me for both
Penny + Jonathan were married last August at Eden Gardens in Moore Park. It was filled with so much emotion, beautiful details and lots of fun. They are a wonderful couple and it’s been so great getting to know them. I laughed so hard when Penny said (on the wedding day) that one of her favorite things about the day was me! What a fun compliment! I just wish these two lived closer so we could see (and photograph) them more often.
Beautifully designed invitation by my previous bride and talented gal, Christy at One Handspun Day.
Getting ready. So much support on their sides!
Penny looking gorgeous as per usual.
First looks are too much fun!
Eden Garden details and the seating chart, handmade by Penny.
Penny’s niece and darling flower girl.
Table themed after all the many places they’ve traveled and lived. Loved the lavender touches.
Pretty lavender flowers.
This little sneak peek of Penny and her father walking by was a different point of view than usual.
Just because you do a first look (or have more than one wedding) doesn’t mean that it takes away from any of the emotion of going through the ceremony. It usually adds to it!
Fun was had by all!
