Last time I shot Ana + Marcus, we didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted so we ended up doing another round. I just adore this couple and we had so much fun walking the streets of Downtown Pasadena.
There are more where these came from but I want to save it for another post.

Found what I like to call “industrial chic” aka a parking garage.

My fave:

Thanks Ana + Marcus for being up for anything!

This wedding inspired me to come up with something I like to call the “Wedding Trifecta”. What is the “Wedding Trifecta” you ask?
It is:
1. Rad Couple
2. Fun Details
3. Wild Party
Some weddings will have 2 out of 3 and it’s still a great wedding or 1 out of 3, which is still acceptable. However when you run into all 3, you’ve hit the wedding jackpot.
I did. As I usually do.
Ceremony: Heritage Square Museum
Reception: Eagle Rock Center for the Arts

Their band photo.

Loved all the fun details at the reception.

I’m not sure but I’m pretty sure this is the cutest cake topper ever.

Dance party.

They’re “adorkable”!! They made up that gem. I cannot take credit.

I can not wait to blog this wedding but needed to blog this first! Since I did their engagement a week before the wedding, I wasn’t able to do a blog in time. So here’s a few from the cute streets of Sierra Madre.

Thanks Kristen + Chris for dinner and a fun time!

My friend and makeup artist extrodinare, Amy Clarke put on a fun shoot where a bunch of photographers, models, makeup artists and hair stylists got together for an all day extravaganza. I’ve known every single hair and makeup artist for a long time so it was really great to work with all my amazingly talented friends!
I looked at it as an opportunity to practice my off camera lighting and try something I don’t normally do. It’s difficult to use off camera lighting at weddings because there’s usually a limited amount of time and lighting takes time to set up. I’m still working on it but I am happy with how these came out.
Makeup Artists:
Amy Clarke
Brandie Bedell
Shelia Northcutt
Hair Stylists:
Melody Rachunok
Vanessa Del Campo
Kristen Camancho Enriquez
Makeup by Brandie.

I’ve been photographing Vanessa for years! Makeup by Brandie, Hair by Melody:

This is my absolute fave from the shoot. I love the colors and it’s my favorite time of day with and without lighting.
