The Picous are one of our favorite fams. We’ve done their Christmas Card photos for the last 3 years! It’s so much fun to see all the pictures documenting their life displayed perfectly in their Pottery Barn house! This year Lia came up with the idea of “breakfast in bed”. She cracks us up!

I will be one of those “crazy” people who get up at the butt-crack of dawn, stand in a line, get shoved by large women, run through stores and fight my way to pay for all my crap. Why, you ask? Well because it’s FUN, exciting and it gets us into the holiday spirit!
This year, I can document and twitter from my handy iPhone! Unless I get ambitious and bring my real camera-we’ll see! Last year’s craziness.
I meant to post this last month but we got a ton of shoots in a row. It’s not to late for Christmas Cards! So if you’re running late (like us this year) you can still do them!
“I kissed a schnauzer; I liked it! The taste of his little black lips!” John made up this song to the beat of the “I kissed a girl” song. He sings this song, which leads Amy to sing this song, which leads innocent bystanders to wake up in the middle of the night singing, “I kissed a schnauzer…”
I think this is my fave. So Christmas-y!

Melissa + Patrick are so cute and nice, I wanna squeeze them!! They really are two of the nicest people we’ve ever met. (And their families are just as nice too!) They were referred to us by another wonderfully nice couple, Patti + Danny. Melissa + Patrick live in Northern California so we met them on our engagement session with Jackie + Joe in San Francisco and hit it off!
Their wedding took place at a charming venue called Grand Island Mansion in Walnut Grove, California. We would LOVE to shoot another destination wedding there so give us a call if you’re planning a wedding!
