Rebecca and Jonathan met with us two years ago and we hit it off right away! We shot their engagement session last summer and had such a great time talking. So we were very excited to be shooting their wedding last Saturday, finally! They’ve been waiting a long time to get married too as they were high school sweethearts. They are wonderful people: filled with love for God, family and friends. We’re so happy we got to experience their day with them (even though both of us shed a tear or two!)

JP was sooo funny! He kept his eyes closed so much that he kept holding the wrong hand out and having his back turned the opposite direction!

But we finally got it:

Most brides these days don’t have a blusher so it was fun playing with it.

Next we found some interesting spots for pictures. We were given full reign!

Their first dance was so sweet. This was in between him singing to her the whole time.

Fun was had by all dancing the night away!

The day after session of Leilah + Zack took place in 110 Palm Springs heat (Jeremy swears it was 118) at 1pm, which in case you didn’t know is the hottest time AND the most harsh light. We had quite the challenge. And I should also mention that after we were done, I looked at the time stamp in camera and it took us all of 16 minutes for the entire shoot!

But we rocked the heck out of those 16 minutes!

You may remember Shawn and Cassie from their Wedding (which by the way wasn’t even a year ago!) and/or Maternity Session. Well little Gavin decided to get here three weeks early! And everyone was happy to have him!

In between our wedding madness of June, we shot Jeremy’s cousin Amber’s graduation from Corona High School (where I also graduated.) It brought back so many memories of my graduation day. The weather was exactly the same and I felt completely transported back in time. I even got a bit teary eyed remembering how I was feeling that day: So excited to leave high school and start my adult life, I didn’t even cry then. It only took 8 years and my cousin’s graduation to get me all emotional about it!

If you only could have seen Amber’s mom in action! She saved us all seats and was guarding them with her life!

Jeremy got a really great spot and with the telephoto lens was able to get some really great shots of the whole thing.
